The A Style Oval Hole Mandolin

Based on the teardrop shaped A series mandolins introduced by Orville Gibson (late 1890's to early 1920's)

This mandolin features a carved spruce top, carved back, sides and neck in figured sycamore. The inlay work is in mother of pearl and abalone giving quite a luxurious finish to this simple instrument.

A good all round instrument ideal for blues, celtic and old time styles of playing.
